Il film di Michael Winterbottom, con Colin Firth, Catherine Keener, Hope Davis, Willa Holland, Perla Haney-Jardine, premiato con la Coppi Volpi alla Mostra del Cinema di Venezia 2009, sarà nelle sale da venerdì 16 ottobre.
Il film “Genova” è stato girato lo scorso anno nel capoluogo ligure e in diverse località della regione, fra cui Camogli, Sori, Moneglia, Sestri Levante, con l’assistenza e la collaborazione di Genova-Liguria Film Commission.
“Genova” ha raccolto positivi giudizi anche al Toronto International Film Festival. Due testate di assoluto spicco del mondo dello spettacolo internazionale, le americane Hollywood Reporter e Variety, hanno scritto positivamente del film con Colin Firth.
Il film è la storia di un uomo che dopo la morte della moglie in un incidente stradale si trasferisce con le due figlie in Italia, nel capoluogo ligure, con la speranza di cominciare una nuova vita. E Genova e dintorni cambieranno davvero le loro esistenze.
